Welcome to Our New Village Clerk | Danice Moore

The Village is excited to announce that Danice Moore was appointed to the position of full-time Village Clerk at the April 2, 2024 Board of Trustees meeting. Dani started work on April 22, 2024.

The Village Clerk, as an officer of the Village, is responsible for performing those duties required by law including the maintenance of an up to date public records system and the issuance of certain licenses. The Clerk attends all meetings of the Village Board, Plan Commission and Zoning Board of Appeals.

Dani has served the Village of Fox Lake in the position of Plan Commissioner, Village Clerk, Village Trustee, and currently is a member of the Fox Lake Board of Police and Fire Commissioners. In addition, she was employed with the Round Lake School District, and formerly worked as a paralegal. She a Bachelors Degree from the University of Illinois and a Master of Public Administration from Northern Illinois University.
